About Advanced Substrate Technologies Pte. Ltd.
We are a Singapore-based subsidiary of TOPPAN Holdings Inc., a Japanese pioneer in printing technologies and a leading supplier of high-quality Flip Chip Ball Grid Array (FC-BGA) substrates. We are the first factory in Singapore to pioneer the manufacturing of high-end FC-BGA substrates used in cutting-edge semiconductor products such as network switches and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) devices.
Additionally, our facility will conduct research and development (R&D) aimed at advancing substrate technologies to meet the evolving performance requirements of future products in these domains. Broadcom Inc., a global technology leader specializing in semiconductor design, enterprise software, and security solutions, is also actively supporting the establishment of this state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Singapore.
Responsibilities
EUC Solutions Design and Implementation
- Design, deploy, and manage end-user computing (EUC) infrastructure to support both AST’s high-tech manufacturing environment and cloud-based systems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops, and peripheral equipment.
- Implement and maintain endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Intune, and cloud-based computing software, supporting both manufacturing applications and cloud environments.
- Support and deploy Windows 11, ensuring compatibility with business, manufacturing systems, and cloud-based solutions such as M365 and Gmail.
- Evaluate and implement automation solutions to streamline EUC deployment, configuration, and maintenance processes, improving operational efficiency.
- Define, enforce, and continually update endpoint security policies, including BitLocker encryption, access controls, and endpoint threat protection, ensuring compliance with AST’s regulatory and organizational standards.
- Support printing solutions, particularly for label printing and other manufacturing-related print tasks, ensuring seamless integration into production workflows.
EUC Operations and Support:
- Implement security measures such as BitLocker encryption, endpoint threat protection, and access controls to protect end-user devices and cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and industry-specific security standards critical to manufacturing and cloud environments.
- Perform regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and take corrective actions to mitigate risks in both the EUC infrastructure and cloud solutions.
Incident Management & Response:
- Investigate and respond to security incidents related to EUC devices, working with the security operations team.
- Lead efforts to contain, investigate, and resolve incidents while minimizing disruption to business operations.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures such as BitLocker encryption, endpoint threat protection, and access controls to protect end-user devices and cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and industry-specific security standards critical to manufacturing and cloud environments.
- Perform regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and take corrective actions to mitigate risks in both the EUC infrastructure and cloud solutions.
Technical Support:
- Offer technical support and troubleshoot IT-related issues for all employees and contractors, ensuring swift resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Act as the escalation point for resolving high-priority issues in IT and OT systems. Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring problems and implement preventive measures.
Project Management:
- Lead EUC-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets, particularly for factory setup, expansion, and cloud-based application deployments.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, licensing, and support services for EUC and cloud infrastructure.
- Provide detailed project documentation, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and deployment plans, covering both high-tech manufacturing and cloud environments.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager, as required to support the team and organizational goals.

Job Requirements
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in End-User Computing (EUC) or Desktop Support with a strong focus on Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (M365), and endpoint security.
- Extensive experience in managing, securing, and troubleshooting Windows 11 environments, including deployment, configuration, and user support.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.), with experience in security configurations and user access management.
- Proficient in Windows 11 security features, such as BitLocker encryption, Windows Defender, and security updates management.
- Experience with Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device management and application deployment in M365.
- Familiarity with Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Group Policy management in a Windows 11 and M365 environment.
- Knowledge of endpoint protection technologies and secure desktop configurations for compliance in corporate environments.
- Hands-on experience with remote desktop support tools and technologies for troubleshooting and assisting users across various desktop environments.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation of routine desktop support and maintenance tasks in Windows environments.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot M365-based security features, such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and device compliance settings.
- Experience with desktop imaging and deployment tools, such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing seamless desktop support and maintaining a secure and compliant user experience.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in EUC environments, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux endpoint support.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and modern device management tools.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows operating systems and desktop troubleshooting.
- Expertise in automation tools like PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and asset management solutions.
- Experience in ITIL frameworks and service management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based EUC solutions, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Desk.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation
